Contrary to reports that the United States has granted visa to the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, after 13 years ban, CEOAFRICA source authoritatively reports that Atiku did not even apply for visa from the United States, according to an embassy source.

A family source confirmed to CEOAFRICA source that the presidential candidate of the PDP only traveled to the UK and is also back in the country.

An aide to Atiku said he does not intend to travel to the United States “anytime soon”, even though Gbenga Daniel, Director-General of the Atiku Presidential Campaign Organisation (APCO), had said Atiku had received “signals from American officials” to apply for visa and it would be granted.
