Obasanjo, Nana Akufo- Addo, Romano Profi, Chrisland University VC, Prof. Chinedum pays tribute to late Kofi Annan

Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellence, Nana Akufo-Addo, former Prime Minister of Italy and President of the European Commission, His Excellence, President Romano Profi and the Vice Chancellor of Chrisland University, Prof. Chinedum Peace Babalola were among the distinguished personalities who paid tribute to the late Kofi Annan.

Prof. Chinedum noted that the late icon was one who gave his life advocating for world peace at a very challenging time.

She paid her tribute at the official inauguration of the African Progressive Group, APG which was held on Tuesday at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential library in Abeokuta.

It would be recalled that Prof. Babalola had earlier in the year organized an award ceremony to honour students who got the institution her first award of participation with distinction on drug abuse at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential library, Abeokuta.

The APG chaired by former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo, succeeded the African Progress Panel which was chaired by the late Kofi Annan before he passed on.

The group is been chaired by former Nigerian President, Olusegun Obasanjo is made up of eminent public, private, political leaders from Africa and friends of Africa from around the world.
