Chrisland University, Abeokuta played host to a very successful 9th Annual Information Technology Development Programme which was organized by the Ogun state chapter of Nigeria Computer Society.
It was indeed a good outing for the institution, as it claimed 1st prize in the Information Technology Quiz category by answering all its questions correctly, while also claiming the 3rd prize in the E-Agriculture Innovation Presentation.
Eleven other institutions also took part in the program which had three categories - Information Technology Quiz, Software Contest and Innovation Presentation on E-Agriculture.
In a related development, the institution has also been invited to take part in an international competition by former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
