A woman on Tuesday has delivered of a baby less than five hours after she was kidnapped in Danjibga village in Tsafe local government area of Zamfara state, Daily Trust gathered.

Recall that last Friday, suspected armed bandits stormed the village and carted away 17 cows. Thereafter, three persons were shot dead when they chased the rustlers in attempt to recover the stolen cows.

A resident in the village who craved for anonymity said the armed bandits had earlier killed three persons and made away with cows.

“They killed three people and abducted one, the kidnapped person was released on Saturday. Last night, they stormed the village again and attempted to abduct one businessman, when he got the wind of the kidnapping, he scaled the fence of his house and ran away leaving behind his two wives”.

“One of the wives had been in labour that day and she was taken to hospital and later brought back to home again. When they came, they met her in excruciating pains and that did not stop them from picking her”

They later called the husband and told him that his wife gave birth to a baby and from that moment no one was able to establish contact with them again,” he added.

Earlier, more than 30 people were abducted in Shinkafi local government area of the state when their vehicle was intercepted on their way to home from market.
