The Vice chancellor of Chrisland University Abeokuta, Prof. Peace Babalola has been presented with the Professional Pharmacists award at the ongoing 91st conference of the Pharmaceutical society of Nigeria, PSN holding in Ibadan, Tagged “Oluyole 2018”.
The award which is always keenly contested is given to recognize individuals who have contributed the most to the pharmacy profession in the country.
Prof. Babalola expressed her joy and excitement for been recognised by her colleagues in the profession and she give special thanks to God almighty for making it a reality.
Also speaking on the driving force behind her illustrious career, she said, "I think God has given me the grace to work hard, also my parents especially my mother instilled in us the children to work hard to achieve success."
Prof. Babalola who is also the Vice chancellor of Chrisland University stated that at Chrisland University they instill in their students the necessary skills to become enterpreneurs and that is what set them apart
from most other institutions.
"At Chrisland University apart from training our students from getting certificates, they also get skill acquisition that ensures that they are not only employable but can as well be self-employed," she noted
