President Muhammadu Buhari is currently meeting with members of the National Security Council at the State House Villa, Abuja, report reveals.
The meeting, started immediately after the National Economic Council (NEC) meeting presided over by the Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo.
The meeting follows days after the Boko Haram sect killed an aid worker, Hauwa Liman in the northeast geopolitical zone.
Members of the National Security Council include the National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno; Minister of Defence, Mansur Dan- Ali, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibok Ekwe Ibas; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Abubakar Sadique; Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Abubakar
Others include, Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris and the Director General of Department for State Service (DSS), Yusuf Magaji Bichi.
