President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at the weekend toured a 300-acre potato processing factory at Gomoa Bewadze in Central Region of Ghana.

The Ghanaian leader was accompanied on the tour by the Trades Minister, Alan Kyerematen, and other governmental officials.

The visit to the potato factory, called Casa De Ropa, is part of the President’s tour of the Central Region which started on Friday.

Ghana news agency recalled that Akufo-Addo had already visited the Brong Ahafo, Western, Ashanti, Volta and the three regions of the north as part of a nationwide tour.

While in the Central Region, the President is expected to interact with Chiefs and people of Komenda, Gomoa Assin, Gomoa Ajumako, Mankessim and Effutu Traditional Areas.

He will engage Regional Party Executives, MMDCEs, and Regional Security Council in separate meetings.
