ERITREA DECLARES ITS WILLINGNESS TO DEVELOP BILATERAL TIE WITH RWANDA

The Eritrean government is planning on strengthening a bilateral relation with Rwanda, in order to achieve mutual prosperity.

Osman Saleh, the Eritrean Minister for Foreign Affairs revealed this while speaking with the news men yesterday after a tribute to Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre.

He said that Rwanda and Eritrea share the same history of liberation struggle, declaring that the focus is to further cement relations especially in the areas of diplomacy, social affairs, economy and politics.

He further said that Rwanda can learn a lot from Eritrea and vice versa.

In his concluding speech, Osman Saleh revealed that he will meet with RPF Secretary General and the Minister of Foreign Affairs officials, adding that he will also tour Rwanda Government Board, Parliament, Microfinance Schemes, Rwanda Development Board, Kigali Special Economic Zone, National Unity and Reconciliation Commission, and the districts of Bugesera and Rubavu.
