Friends of Jesus Congregation, a Catholic community founded by Monsignor Vincent Harcourt Blackett, the Priest-in-charge at Our Lady Queen of the Universe Catholic Church,Roman Catholic Diocese of Bridgetown in Barbados, on Saturday July 14, 2018 formally received nine students to the community at the Scholasticate located at No.55 France’s Okediji Street, Old Bodija, off Awolowo road, Bodija.

Monsignor Vincent Harcourt Blackett admonished the newly received students to imbibe a simple, humble and open lifestyle as it will help their missionary careers.

The event was graced by the Parish Priest of St. Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, Ibadan, Rev. Msgr. J.K Idowu, Sister Margaret Mary a missionary from Barbados and other devoted Catholic members.
