The popular Upper Class Hotel at Onitsha Anambra State meets its doom as Governor Peter Obi on Friday ordered for its demolition following the spotting of three fresh human heads, arms and ammunitions in the building.

CEOAFRICA new correspondent has gathered from a reliable source that the demolition of the three storey building which was located at 8 Old Market Road, Onitsha, was personally supervised by the State Governor who stated that the administration would continue to fight crime.

The government disclosed to have seen to the confiscation of all assets belonging to the owner of the hotel also assets belonging to the owner of the hotel who was arrested together with his staff, adding that the action was in line with the police of his administration to sustain the fight against crime and criminality.

Governor Obi explained it was better demolishing the building rather than converting it for public use to serve as a lesson to others who are might into the same horrible act.

Speaking on the issue, the Transition Committee Chairman, Onitsha North, Mr. Eddie Okosi and that of Onitsha South, Mr. Ugochukwu Ezeani viewed that the State Government by its several effort is already overriding the threats posed by criminals in the state.
