Spanish La Liga side Almeria have confirmed the invitation of former Flying Eagles midfielder Ramon Azeez for Nigeria's international friendly against Mexico.

The player has shown his versatility this term for Almeria, chalking up 18 La Liga appearances and scoring once. He told Complete Sports he will be delighted to play wherever he is needed by the Super Eagles.

Azeez who is currently in Madrid to pick up his entry visa into the USA also disclosed that with hard work and solid performances he might get a chance to feature at the World Cup in Brazil.
"I'm happy that I have been given a chance to prove my mettle," the 21-year-old told Complete Sports.

"I'm comfortable playing anywhere for the Super Eagles.

"This season I've played defensive, holding and attacking roles in midfield so I'm ready wherever the coach says I will play. "

Azeez has already played for Nigeria at the FIFA U-17 World Cup and the U-20 World Cup in 2009 and 2011 and may join the quartet of Chinedu Obasi Haruna Lukman and Elderson Echiejile to have featured for Nigeria at all levels of FIFA World Cups.

Also invited for the clash is highly rated Belgian duo of Imoh Ezekiel and Michael Uchebo.
Ezekiel, 20, with nine league goals this season, has been in superb form for Standard Liege and has caught Keshi's eye.

Belgium-based striker Uchebo has scored five league goals for Cercle Brugge this season.
