The member representing Lagelu/Akinyele federal constituency and Chairman House Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning, Hon. Temitope Olatoye popularly known as Sugar is the founder of Olatoye Sugar Foundation (OSF) which has rendered so many humanitarian services to the masses in the areas of health care, empowerment, infrastructures and agriculture.

Hon. Olatoye while fielding questions from journalists at the State Headquarters of OSF revealed reasons for spending millions of naira on weekly basis rendering free medical services to the people of Oyo State irrespective of party affiliations, tribe or constituency.

According to the highly respected Honourable member, his services to humanity stemmed from the covenant he had with God that, whenever he is given the opportunity to render assistance to people, he will not hesitate in making significant impact in the lives of those whom God wants him to help.

Sugar explained that, his humanitarian services to people did not just start as a member of the House of Representatives, traced his kind gestures to when he was yet to be elected into the Oyo State House of Assembly.

The OSF founder noted that changing lives positively and putting smiles on the faces of people are the reasons for spending between 1.3 million to 2 million naira on weekly basis touching lives through the foundation's humanitarian services.

In the words of Hon. Olatoye ''People wondered why doing this much for the masses, not only for the people of my constituency but Nigerians as a whole. It is not because of my political ambition. I have been changing lives positively before now, even before I was elected into Oyo State House of Assembly. God empowered me to do it. Ordinarily, this free health care should be for the people of my constituency who voted for me, but here you can see Hausa, Igbo, Fulani, and Yoruba from other states of the federation benefitting from the scheme. This is not politically motivated, seeing people smiling is my joy and I give glory to God''.

He said ''I have been making impact on a small level before elected into the Oyo State House of Assembly and I improved on my humanitarian services at that level. When God brought me to the National Assembly, He widened the project and now it covers all local governments and geopolitical zones in Oyo State. When God helps me to emerge in executive capacity in Oyo State come 2019, it will be free healthcare galore broadened across nooks and crannies of the state. The entire country will feel our impact even beyond boarders as the health hub of the nation''.
