The secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo State, Mr. Emiola Wasiu Adebayo  has debunked the rumour making the round that a former governor of Oyo State, Sen. Rashidi Ladoja , Barr. Sharafadeen Abiodun and others are leaving the PDP over a purported harmonization list by the national leadership of the party.

According to Mr. Emiola who addressed journalists after a meeting held at the residence of Sen. Rashidi Ladoja noted that the national chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus has called the state chapter of the party to disregard the rumour of the harmonization list to cater for the interest of an aggrieved group headed by a governorship aspirant of the party, Mr. Seyi Makinde as a mere rumour.

The PDP secretary stated'' the information concerning the purported harmonization of the State Executive to cater for some people was a mere rumour and should therefore be discountenanced because the party at the national level cannot tamper with the authentic list of the executive who emerged through due process of the congresses spearheaded by both the Chairman, PDP Caretaker Committee and State Congress monitoring committee, Hon. Tunde Akogun and Sen. Liyel Imoke''.

The meeting held at the residence of Sen. Rashidi Ladoja had in attendance Sen. Femi Lanlehin, Chief Bisi Ilaka, Hon. Busari Olayemi, Mrs. Yetunde Ajibola, Chief Ademola Mofolasere and other party chieftains where  it was exclusively resolved that Sen. Rashidi Ladoja remains the leader of the party in the state while a vote of confidence was passed on the state executive of the party led by the chairman, Alhaji Omokunmi Mustafa.

Mr. Emiola therefore called on the party teeming supporters and the general public to continue to support the PDP in its quest to liberate the people from the misrule of the ruling party.

Purported harmonization list a handiwork of the Ruling party - Sen. Ayoade Adeseun

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Oyo state, Sen. Ayoade Adeola Adeseun has ascribed the rumour of the purported harmonization list in the party to a ploy by the ruling party, APC to cause confusion in PDP.

Sen. Ayoade made this known while responding to a question on the harmonization list and the decision of Sen. Rashidi Ladoja to defect from PDP to another party. Sen. Ayoade who described the news a a mere rumour stated that there is no crisis in PDP as the party remains a strong and united family.

Sen. Ayoade who fingered the ruling party of peddling false rumour noted that no amount of lies by the ruling party can unsettle the PDP as the party is poised to rescue Nigerians from the obvious display incompetence by the present administration.

The PDP chieftain therefore admonished the people not to relent in their support towards repositioning PDP, as it remains the only party that can bail out the nation from the untold hardship the incumbent administration has brought on Nigerians.

Nothing like harmonization list in Oyo PDP - Barr. Sharafadeen Abiodun

On his part, the former SSG to Oyo state and the chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Barrister Sharafadeen Abiodun ALLI has decribed as frivolous and unwarranted the rumour making round that a harmonization list has been put up by the national leadership of the party to cater for the interest of a group within the party.

The Asiwaju Balogun of Ibadan land who attributed the flying rumour to some elements who are poised to cause confusion within the ranks of the party advised them to look elsewhere as PDP in Oyo state remains united.

Barr. Sharafadeen who stated that PDP has been repositioned and restructured to return to power both at state and national level warned mischief makers, that it is no longer business as usual in Oyo PDP.

He went further to state that PDP in Oyo state has only one recognised party executive led by Alhaji Omokunmi Mustafa.

The governorship hopeful in 2019 therefore called on the general public especially members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to ignore such rumour and continue to support the party that has resolved to liberate the masses from those who are not ready for governance.
