The  CEO of Salt Lake Nigeria limited Chief S. O Adigun has called on the Federal Government to reduce the abnormal taxes imposed on manufacturing companies for them to thrive.

Chief Adigun made the call during an exclusive interview with CEOAFrica in his office located at Orita challenge, Ibadan on Teusday 16 January 2018.

Recalling how the company started in Damaturu with only one major client, he stated that today it’s a different ball game as they have extended their services to other parts of the country with a major plant on ground that is already a household name in the country.

When asked about his major challenges, the CEO stated that raw materials and power are his major challenges but expressed optimism that that will soon be resolved.

Stating that his expansion Programme is his motivational story, he noted that the company is expanding gradually and with manpower sourcing, it’s now like most other manufacturing companies.

Chief Adigun called on the government to partner with them by providing a conducive atmosphere and reducing abnormal taxes for the manufacturing companies to thrive.

He emphasized that government has not been fair with their taxes and when that is handled, it will enable them to employ more hands thus curbing unemployment.

Chief Adigun advised the youths to be independent and not to rely on white collar jobs alone but learn to be productive. He decried how Nigerian youths who are trained in various professions are unemployed and urged them to further engage in skill acquisitions
