A gas plant in Magodo Lagos has been engulfed by fire spreading to other properties in the neighborhood.

The fire outbreak occurred this morning, following an explosion at the plant called Second Coming Gas Plant.

Bisi Kazeem, the Federal Road Safety Corps spokesman has urged motorists to take alternative routes. The level of damage is yet to be ascertained at the moment.

But fire fitters have arrived at the scene.
