Abara, CEO OMEGA CONSORTIUM calls for protection of consumers right

Acknowledging the power of the consumer as a driving force for markets across the globe, Mr Christopher Abara, CEO OMEGA CONSORTIUM has called on the regulatory bodies to make sure that the consumers rights are protected.

Mr Christopher Abara, made the call while speaking on “Meet your African CEOs”, CEOAFrica Online TV programme, a platform that identifies and celebrate great entreprenuers, on Saturday 13th January 2018.

He exposed the fact that products with reduced prices have been altered in terms of quality stating that consumers are deceived by this, which is why most of these purchased products develop fault earlier than expected.

The Republic of Benin based Electronics business man, assessing the present state of the electronic business in Nigeria, urged the Standard Organisation of Nigeria (SON) to wake up to their responsibilities saying that as a controlling structure, incompetence in the organization is not healthy at all.

Mr Abara explaining further, expressed the need to educate consumers about the products they purchase to ensure adequate customer satisfaction by revealing the healthy and unhealthy negotiation which customers are yet to recognize as an important factor for purchase.

He took pride his company Omega Consortium by saying that it was established not only to sell, but to target their consumers problem and solve them.
