The Ekiti state governor,Ayodele Fayose of PDP has faulted the wish of the Northern governors to re-elect President Buhari.

This was made known seven Northern governors after a meeting with Buhari, they said the Presiden t remains the right person to represent them.

The Kaduna state governor said Buhari is on the right path and so they will support his re-elcetion.

The Ekiti state governor said it is selfish of the Northern governors to make such declaration in a time as this, when the country is faced with a lot of unpleasant happenings

Fayose via his official twitter handle wrote “No fuel, killings in Benue, Taraba, Adamawa, Rivers, etc. But some people’s response to all these is to endorse President Buhari for second term. What a way to treat Nigerians with contempt.”
