President Buhari instructed the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, to immediately move to Benue to restore law and order, after the recent killing of innocent people in Guma and Logo Local Government areas of the state by herdsmen.

The Inspecter General IGP arrived Benue today and was received by the AIG in charge of Zone 4 (Benue, Nasarawa, Plateau) at the Zone 4 Headquarters in Makurdi.
