Nigeria Police releases photo of arrested online publisher, Daniel Elombah in handcuff

The Federal State Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), yesterday stormed the home of online journalist, Daniel Elombah in Nnewi, Anambra state and arrested him, his four brothers and 2 other relatives. According to his family members, David who is based in the UK, came in to Nigeria to celebrate the yuletide.

Although the police is yet to state the reason for his arrest, they released photos of him after he was made to appear before an Abuja Judicial Division earlier today. The Facebook post says the court granted the police permission to detain him for 14 days while investigations continue.
