The wife of the Executive Governor of Oyo state, Mrs Florence Ajimobi (JP), on Thursday commended University Teaching Hospital (UCH), Ibadan for series of successful cardiac catherization procedures and open heart surgeries.

Mrs Ajimobi lauded the cardiological team and their partners - Tri-state cardiovascular Associate, Delaware and the Babcock University for their efforts at saving lives while speaking at the official launching of the UCH intervention cardiology programme .She stated that as a friend and partner of UCH, she understands the enormous work done by the team and appreciates the good gesture. According to her, the good health of every resident of Oyo state is a priority of the present administration in the state.

Mrs Ajimobi pledged her continuous support for UCH, reiterating that she values the partnership between the Access to Basic medical Care (ABC), a project of the first lady and UCH. She reiterated her commitment to providing free qualitative health care services to Oyo state residents through the various ABC clinics and clinics for the aged spread across the country.  She encouraged the team to continue the good work in order to save more lives and give more people a chance at fulfilling their destiny.
