NIGERIA (Bayelsa)- The death of  Niger Delta Television Station (NDTV) driver, Yoluwa Ekiya, came as huge shock to members of staff at the station yesterday.

It was gathered that Mr. Ekiye slumped over the steering and died while conveying staff to work along the Tombia-Amasoma, Yenagoa, as the bus was waiting for a traffic signal at an intersection.

According to a presenter at the station, the deceased was well respected among his colleagues and dedicated to work.

A senior staff of the station said that management was in a meeting with the family of the deceased and that the station could not comment until Mr. Ekiye’s family was fully briefed.
