King Mohammed VI Opened Socio-Educational Youth Complex in Morocco

 From Casablanca, Morocco, CEOAFRICA.com gathered that the country’s leader, HM King Mohammed VI has inaugurated a socio-educational complex for youth integration, a project carried out by Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.

The new facility, built at the Errahma II neighbourhood in the Dar Bouaaza commune (Nouaceur province), is aimed at developing young people’s competences, promoting their socio-vocational integration and creates income-generating activities.

Our source disclosed that the complex worth 10 million dirhams, meets the needs of inhabitants and associations in the Errahma II neighbourhood as it offers trainings in income-generating trades, in addition to cultural, sports and community activities.

The edifice which was built over a surface area of 2,660 square metres includes several workshops (Computer and applied computer graphics, network and maintenance of computer material, tapestry-making), a room for interviews and training on security jobs, a communication and foreign languages room, a room for remedial courses and pedagogical orientation, a multi-purpose room, and a multimedia library.

Furthermore, the complex also comprises areas for women and children as well as workshops for dress designing and baking, rooms for receptionists and teachers’ training, an associations’ room and a playground for kids.

CEOAFRICA further gathered that the new facility also has sports grounds (mini-football and basketball) as well as two shops.

King Mohammed VI therefore handed 10 local associations sports equipment donated by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
