Coach Stephen Keshi of the Nigerian Super Eagles has expressed the readiness of his home-based lads to tackle Jordan today in an international friendly.

CEOAFRICA sports desk gathered that the Super Eagles gaffer promised his lads will give Jordan a good fight, although the team did not have enough time to prepare for the game.

He said the Super Eagles whether home or foreign based players do not regard any game as a friendly but competitive adding that that is what will make the Jordan game a very interesting one.

"My boys are set for the game against Jordan and I don't see us losing this one in their present mood. It is a good match that will expose and toughen the domestic league boys ahead of the CHAN in South Africa next year.

"The Jordanians are using the game to prepare for their play-off against the South American 5th placed team (Uruguay) so they will also give it their best shot. It is going to be a good game and we are ready,'Keshi stated.

The former Super Eagles skipper also said that he does not have any injury worries in the team even as he assured more home based players would be invited to fight for places in the CHAN squad.
