CEOAFRICA gathered that a small plane carrying about 14 people went missing in North-Western Mexico, which took off from Loreto in Baja California Sur state.

Our source gathered that this may have been due to Bad weather conditions caused by Tropical Storm Octave, which was approaching the Mexican coast. An authority has said that the conditions are not yet good for the Marine plane to go on search.

A security alert ahead of the storm has however been declared in seven states including Baja California Sur.

According to reports, more than a hundred people died in Mexico as a result of Tropical Storms Manuel and Ingrid last month.
