CEOAFRICA gathered that a 34 years old Rwanda man was killed by a crocodile in Lake Rumira, Bugesera Disrict.

According to sources, Mr Jean Marie Vianney who was a resident of Gicaca village in Ririma Sector of Bugesrs District was attacked by the crocodile while fishing on the lake.

Sources said that fishing activities had been restricted on the crocodile infested lake for a long time which is probably why some people go fishing in hiding.

According to source, the Area Executive Secretary, Gaspard Gasirabo said residents have continue to fish allegedly despite constant warnings adding that more campaign against illegal and late night fishing because of the lurking danger will be made.
