Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi

We will Approach Ethiopia’s Game as If they are Brazil or Spain… Says Keshi

Sports desk of CEOAFRICA.com gathered that Super Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi, has expressed his desire never to underrate the Wayas Antelope of Ethiopia in the playoff for the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier.

The big boss, as Keshi is fondly called said he puts the Ethiopians in the rank of Spain and Brazil, hence the reason why his team will approach the game with total seriousness.

Presently in the US on holiday, Coach Stephen Keshi soke through the team’s media officer, Ben Alaiya after the Africa play-offs were decided in Cairo today.

 “Ethiopia should not be taken as an easy ride. For all you may know they could be the surprise pack and as the coach has always maintained, every team in this round have the same chances of qualifying for the global showpiece,” Alaiya said.

Furthermore, Alaiya said,” Whether it is a simple team or a hard team, Keshi’s position is that he’s looking forward to the match.”

Records showed that the two sides have met seven times with Super Eagles having upper hand those seven times. Both teams met at the 2013 AFCON in South Africa, where the Wayas Antelope bowed to Nigeria 2-0 courtesy Victor Moses’ brace.
