In continuation of the familiarization tour of the new Commissioner of Police CP. Shodipo Kolawole. A  to Agodi Area Command of Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria of the West African Continent,  visited the Sarikin Sasa, Moniya, Kajorepo, and Ojoo Divisional Headquarters.

The CP in his address appreciated the members of the public for their love and support for the Nigeria Police. "We need you more than you need us; security is our collective responsibility, though we are been paid for it, without your help, we cannot succeed" CP said.

The Public Community Relations Chairman welcomed the Commissioner of Police to Oyo State Command and prayed that the Lord will continue to bless the work of his hands.

"Our DPO is doing a great job; we appreciate his selfless service and devotion to duty" he said.

The PCRC Chairman requested that officers should be recommended for courses to enhance them for promotion from time to time. However, the community promised to continue to assist the police in the discharge of their duties to provide security of lives and properties and to ensure prevalence of law and order.

The Sarikin Sasa, Alhaji Dr. Haruna, Maiyasin Katsina was pleased to have the Commissioner of police in his palace, "I knew you when you were the AC OPS in Ibadan. I believe you are the change we need in Oyo state and I am ready to support you in any way you might need me" Sarikin Sasa promised the CP.

"Lack of discipline and criminality has become the order of the day in our community, because we accommodate criminals; they live among us; we hire them and that is why crime rate is not reducing but the policemen are trying their possible best to curb it" Sarikin Sasa said.

The Police Commissioner assures the general public that the existing peace in Ibadan will continue to reign. Furthermore he said, 2015 election will be itch free because police are ready to make it right in Oyo state.
