The FA will not charge Swansea City manager Garry Monk for his rants against Victor Moses and referee Michael Oliver following defeat at Stoke City.

Monk could not control his emotions after Oliver handed the Potters a penalty when Angel Rangel tugged Moses’ shirt at the Britannia Stadium on October 19.

He branded Oliver a disgrace and accused Moses of cheating.

Swansea had previously been awarded a spot kick of their own when Wilfried Bony had been quick to hit the deck as he was being marked by Ryan Shawcross.

A statement from Swansea reads: “Swansea City can confirm that the Football Association will not be taking any further action regarding media comments made by manager Garry Monk following the recent Barclay Premier League fixture at Stoke City.

“The FA, who asked Monk for his observations following the fixture, has reminded the Swansea manager about his responsibilities regarding media comments.”
