Alhaji Ahmadu Fintiri, speaker of the Adamawa House of Assembly and seven other governorship aspirants in the state have ganged up against the Governor of the state, Mr. James Ngilari, ahead of the 2015 governorship election.

They believe that Ngilari should not be allowed to contest in the upcoming elections. The eight aspirants including former political aide to President Goodluck Jonathan, Ahmed Gulak, on Wednesday, stormed the national secretariat of the party insisting that the zoning arrangement earlier reached with them by the party must be kept.
