Stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress in Kano have rejected the exercise which produced the delegates that are dispatched to the party's national convention in Abuja.

In a press statement  jointly signed by Alhaji Mustapha Dankadai of the merged CPC, Hon. Danlami Hamza of former ANP,P and Alhaji Musa Umar of the former ACN, and made available to reporters, described the process of nomination as illegal.

The statement said: "We also vehemently reject the authenticity of the so-called convention delegates who are basically a representation of Kwankwasiyya group (Kano governor's political movement), not of the APC Kano State".

According to the release, the process of Kano State delegate election, which was purported to have been conducted on the 25th October, 2014, throughout the State was characterised by irregularities.
