Bloemfontein Celtic will host Polokwane City to honour their league fixture at the Kaizer Sebothelo stadium this coming Sunday.

Kick-off is at 3:30 pm.

Siwelele have seen their 2014/15 PSL season off to a bad start and will aim to get a victory at home to turn around their campaign.

The Bloemfontein-based club are currently placed at position 14 after seven games thus far, winning one, drawing three and three losses.

However, during the international Fifa break, the Ernst Middendorp-coached club have managed to keep busy as they beat Kaizer Chiefs during the Macufe Cup last Sunday.

To the Cameroon-born goalkeeper, Patrick Tignyemb, the break is an advantage to other teams and players but it’s football so they can’t moan and must keep focused.

“Well, our preparations have gone well, we’re ready for Polokwane City because we really needed to play,” said Tignyemb.

“I think there’s no better time to face them than now, we’re from a break and it has somewhat killed our momentum.

“We have been boosted by the win against Kaizer Chiefs though in the Macufe Cup and we hope to do well against City at home on Sunday.

“It’s not going to be easy obviously, they now have a new coach and will aim to get points.”

Looking at the Citizens, they have lost five games, won one and drew one, however, with coach Kosta Papic being in charge of his first league encounter, his players will look to impress him and get the maximum points.

Coming back from injury, City striker, Puleng Tlolane says they’re looking forward to the game and will give everything to get the three points.

“I’m happy to be back and I’m looking forward to the game and contribute to get a win away to Celtic,” said Tlolane.

“We’re ready to face them but it’s not going to be easy, we now have a new coach in Papic and he’s looking at playing good football.

“We are confident that we’ll combine football and get results – to improve our log standings.

“I’d like to score goals but obviously it’s not going to be easy because I’m from a four weeks lay-off but I believe we’ll win as our preparations were smooth.
