The third match day of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge will take place in eight different venues across the country this coming weekend, the organisers confirmed on Monday.

For the first time, teams get a chance to host the matches – as the tournament continues to break new grounds. Group A matches will take place on Saturday, with Moroka Swallows and Pretoria University playing the first match at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto. Kickoff is at 10am.

That clash will be followed by the Cape Town thriller between hosts Ajax Cape Town and Kaizer Chiefs, at 12pm. The match will take place at Ikamva, where the teams - who are both on four points, will be gunning for all three points to take the top spot.

Leaders Bloemfontein Celtic, who crushed Swallows 8-0 in their last match, face Polokwane City at the Siwelele Park, kickoff is at 2pm.

The last match of the day is at Harry Gwala Stadium, where Maritzburg United and SuperSport United will be looking for their first three points – the match will start at 4pm.

In Group B, Chippa United welcome Free State Stars at the Galvendale Track Sports Stadium at 10am on Sunday.

Bidvest Wits play hosts to leaders Orlando Pirates in a Gauteng derby at Sturrock Park – where Pirates will be vying for their third-straight win. Wits, on the other hand, are still searching for their first win after drawing their two matches. The match will kick off at 12pm.

Platinum Stars will entertain Mpumalanga Black Aces at the Olympia Stadium in Rustenburg at 2pm. Stars are still without a win, while Aces won their first clash before conceding a late own goal to draw against Wits in their last match.

AmaZulu, who have lost their two matches, face Mamelodi Sundowns at People’s Park next to the Moses Stadium in the final match of the day – where the Brazilians will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after playing a goalless draw against Platinum Stars.

The next two editions will take place at the Tuks Stadium in Pretoria and in Free State, where all the teams will be in action.
