The Plateau State Police command has arrested and paraded one Maimako Shephang at Kwalla in Quanpan Local Government Council of the state for allegedly luring his wife, Agnes into the bush and selling her for N800,000 to two masked ritualists.
The state Police Commissioner, Mr Nasiru Oki, while briefing journalists in his office in Jos wednesday said the two dreaded masked men asked Agnes whether she was a spinster or not. Agnes told them that the man who handed her over to them was her husband.
The men therefore released Agnes to run away from the place since the spiritual sacrifice required a woman or lady that has not known a man.
