BREAKING NEWS: Kaduna second explosion kills scores, govt declares 24-hour curfew

Two hours after a suicide bomber killed no fewer than 25 persons in Alkali/Isa Kaita Road in Kaduna on Wednesday, another explosion in the city had claimed the lives of unspecified number of people.

The second explosion was said to have occurred near Kawo overhead bridge.

While the police confirmed that 25 persons died in the first blast, which took place after a Ramada Lecture, the number of casualties in the second explosion had yet to be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.

Meanwhile, the Kaduna State Government has declared a 24-hour curfew in the capital city following the twin bombing in the state capital, according to a statement by the government.
