The Team manager of the newly promoted Crime Busters Football Club of Enugu State Police Command, Ebere Amaraizu, has stated that despite losing to a superior side, Rangers International of Enugu 3-0 at the Nnnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Friday, February 14, 2014, Crime Busters F.C have what it takes to write their names in gold as far as the Nigeria Nationwide League is concerned.

According to Amaraizu, who is also the Police Public Relation Officer of the Enugu Command, it would have been inappropriate for Crime Busters F.C to defeat Rangers International in the build-up friendly as it would have amounted to what he described as disastrous to the pedigree of Rangers, but confirmed that chances came the ways of his team within the first 30 minutes of their holding Rangers boys to hostage which was not well converted and their opponents later had theirs and got it converted, pointing out that such is the game of football.

He said in a press release to CEOAFRICA sports desk that the most important aspect is that the match was organized as a strong build-up for the new comers in the Nigeria Nationwide League where they will be playing with some clubs across the nation.

He regretted the indiscipline exhibited by Super Eagles and Rangers Christain Obiozor during

the encounter where he physically assaulted Crime Busters Defender which earned him a red card by the centre referee and wished that Obiozor would have exhibited his professional talent rather than being crude in his football approach despite his experience.

Meanwhile Crime Busters will finally play newly promoted Premier League Club, Abia Warriors at Umuahia Central Stadium on February 18, 2014 by 3pm in order to finish their build-ups ahead of their first game in the Nigeria Nationwide League against Enyimba Feeders of Aba on February, 22, 2014.
