Mohammed Dakingari, Kebbi State Accountant-General  has been sentenced to 70 years in prison by an Appeal Court for N1,6bn fraud.

Dakingari was found guilty of N1.6bn fraud.

A Kebbi State High Court had earlier discharged and acquitted Dakingari, but Court of Appeal on Friday overruled it and upheld the appeal of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
