Some women have been captured on the camera throwing their wrappers for the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu to walk on.

A video clip which was posted online shows the moment some women who are members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, were seen removing and throwing their wrappers on the ground for the embattled IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu to walk on.

The footage emerged on Tuesday, June 20, as some IPOB members visited their leader at his hometown in Isiama Afara, Umuahia, the Abia state capital.

While speaking to a correspondent, a member of Kanu';s family who spoke on the incident, said the women saw the visit as an opportunity to honour Kanu for his efforts towards the freedom of Biafra.

The women came here and they insisted he must walk on their wrapper. They were still talking before you know it, they have thrown the wrappers on the floor," a lady identified as Sonia said.

It was gathered that the IPOB leader had earlier received a mammoth crowd in his hometown, and reportedly said that all those who said Biafra will not come to pass will die.
