JUST IN: DMO to raise N460bn in 2nd quarter

The Debt Management Office, DMO, yesterday, announced plans to raise N460 billion through Federal Government bonds offer in the second quarter of the year.

The agency disclosed this in its FGN bond issuance calendar for second quarter, 2017 posted on its website. According to the calendar, DMO on April 12, will offer three different FGN bonds to raise between N120 billion and N150 billion.

 These include: N40 billion of 14.50 per cent FGN JUL 2021; N55 billion worth of 16.2884 per cent FGN MAR 2027; and N55 billion worth FGN APR 2037.

The second auction will be conducted on May 10 to raise N155 billion via three different bonds. These include N45 billion of 14.50 per cent FGN JUL 2021, N55 billion worth of 16.2884 per cent FGN MAR 2027; and N55 billion worth FGN APR 2037.

 The final bond auction of the quarter will be held on June 21, to raise N155 billion via the following: N45 billion of 14.50 per cent FGN JUL 2021, N55 billion worth of 16.2884 per cent FGN MAR 2027; and N55 billion worth FGN APR 2037.
