The new FIFA ranking released by the world governing football body today, Nigeria has been placed 41st in the world and seventh in Africa.

This is indeed an improvement from  the January edition  despite missing the2017  Africa Cup of Nations(AFCON) were they were ranked 50.

Cameroon were the best mover on the table as they were ranked 33rd in the world. Egypt, are however the highest ranked team on the African continent at the moment and are 23rd in the word.

Meanwhile Argentina is No. 1 on the table while Brazil and Germany are 2nd and 3rd respectively on the body.
