The National Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hajiya Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has lauded the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari for giving women the opportunity to occupy vital position.

She said in a statement that the appointment of  women to four critical agencies of government proved that the president was keeping to his campaign promises.
‎The statement said: “These appointments are not only timely but appropriate. Only this week, Mr President followed it up with a further appointment of four more women as chief executives of some important parastatals in the country. It is worth reiterating that the foregoing is in line with your campaign promises and the manifesto to the APC.

 “While we applaud your strides thus far, we also reassure you of our commitment and prayers, because Nigerian women recognised that the way out of our present economic challenges is hard work and discipline.

 “And to our deserving appointees, we are proud of your exemplary strides and we urge you to put your feet on the ground and your leadership to bear in your respective assignments. To whom much is given much is expected.”
