Wikki Tourists head coach, Abdu Maikaba has charged his boys to go for a win against Crown FC and should forget about their 2-0 home win over Abia Warriors in Bauchi which saw them return to the top of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) table on goals difference in a report by goal.com

He said his team must not be lethargic against the Ajilete Boys in their quest for the NPFL and Federation Cup titles.

“We know what we must do to qualify and we are ready to do so if we do not want to be shocked like other clubs that have been beaten by Crown FC,” Maikaba told CEOAFRICA source  “They are giant killers in the Federation Cup while we are also surprise package in the league because nobody gave us a chance at the beginning of the season.

“We have a chance to target a double and I have told my boys to rise up to the occasion and forget about the Saturday win over Abia Warriors.”

To qualify for this stage of the competition, Wikki stopped Plateau United 1-0 in Akure while Crown FC defeated Enugu Rangers 2-1 in the Round of 16.
