England coach Roy Hodgson has resigned after his side’s shock exit from Euro 2016 on Monday.

The Three Lions were stunned 2-1 by underdogs Iceland in their round of 16 encounter.

 “I know we are in the results business…now is the time for someone else to oversee the progress of this young, hungry, group,” Hogson said at his press conference moments after the match.
