The Chairman of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) in Oyo State, Comrade Waheed Olojede has been arrested by the police for leading a protest against privatization of schools in the state, CEOAFRICA news desks gathered..

Reports said he spent several hours at the office of commissioner of police in the state before he was taken to Iyaganku police station.

It was also gathered that he was arrested alongside Comrades C K Ogundeji, NLC Secretary and other comrades who led the protests on Thursday.
