While many people envies her slim stature popular Nollywood actress Lepa Shandy is not too comfortable with her stature. Folasade Omoniyi also known as Lepa Shandy revealed much about her secret agony in this chat.

How Have you been able to remain this slim for long and after childbirth?

It is not as if I manage it or planned to be this way. I also want to be fat. I want people to call me “Mummy” too. Sometimes, when I am walking with younger ones people would refer to them as “aunty” and just say to me, “Lepa come here”; you can just imagine that!

Are you now saying you don’t like your stature?

No, no don’t get me wrong. I am not saying I don’t like my stature, but you know in African mentality we believe in big things; if somebody is not big in stature, they will think the person is also small in age and you know our men are also not left out of that impression.

Narrate any embarrassing moment because of your size?

Some years back, I was in Abuja and I went with a friend to the market. When we got to the meat seller’s stall and as I was negotiating the price, she just told me, “shut up jare, let your mother talk!” referring to my friend as my mother. It was very embarrassing just because I have a small stature; it is not fair”

Would you then like to add more weight?

No. I am not going on any special diet to add more weight. I am okay like this.

What does fashion means to you?

For me, in one word, it is simplicity!

What can you never be caught wearing?

Pant only.

Have you ever considered acting nude?

No, not for once, not even for a million dollars! Our culture does not permit that, so I can’t do it.
