Togo maintained their winning streak as they beat Djibouti 2-0 away in their Group 'A' Africa Cup of Nations Gabon 2017 Day Two qualifier on Friday in Djibouti.

Captain Serge Akakpo scored the opener after three minutes before Turkey-based Jonathan Ayite added the second two minutes before the break to seal victory.

'Les Eperviers' lead the pack in Group A with six points three more than the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, due to face Liberia away in Monrovia in the group's other game on Saturday.

Djibouti and Liberia are pointless, though the former has played a game more than the latter.
