The Scorpions of Gambia could have a go at Tunisia's Carthage Eagles in a possible friendly ahead of the qualifier game against Cameroon.

National gaffer; Raoul Savoy's men are raring to go September 6th at the Independence Stadium but a test match could be lined up prior to the intriguing contest against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon. An exhibition match was first mooted with the Moroccan national team but it appears Tunisia now looks to be more on the cards.

'The plan is to camp the boys in Morocco where they're expected to face Tunisia in a friendly but nothing has been confirmed yet,' a source tells Foroyaa Sport.

Though Football House wouldn't verify definite possibility of the friendly, one thing is certain, a test match isn't expected to be staged in the absence of Gambia gaffer Savoy who, this publication understands, is at home in Geneva.

'The Gambia coach will return to Banjul in two weeks' the source adds.
