Immediate past president, Dr Goodluck Jonathan has bemoaned the unending spate of terror attacks by Boko Haram, calling on Nigerians to be unrelenting in praying for peace in the country.

Adding that the task of arresting the scourge was not solely the responsibility of the armed forces, Jonathan, in a post on his Facebook wall, on Sunday, charged all Nigerians to be involved in the war against terror.

Reiterating the need to support the Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, Jonathan expressed belief that Buhari was doing his best possible to end the wanton killing of Nigerians in different acts of terror.

“The death of any Nigerian at the hands of terrorists is a sad reminder that the war on terror is a task for all Nigerians, not just the armed forces.

“I urge all Nigerians to continue to pray for peace in Nigeria and to support the administration of President Buhari as the government does its best to bring an end to these acts of terror and secure all Nigerians,” he said.
