The Training workshop for junior university professional administrators organized by the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) has ended on a good note with participants armed with new skills for university administration.

The 2day workshop which held at SSANU National Secretariat, Jabi, Abuja, on 24th - 25th August, 2023, with the theme: "Fundamentals of Skill Acquisition for the Next Generation of University Professional Administrators was well attended by university officials across the country.

In his welcome address, the national president of the association, Dr Victor Bem appreciated participants for turning up for the event despite the present economic constrain in the country. He premised the rationale for the training workshop on the need to ensure continuous professional development of members to sustain achievements of administrative efficiency even for the future university system. He said: "this is the reason why this particular training is aimed at equipping and preparing our current junior professional administrators for the task ahead."

Dr Bem went further to appreciate the resource persons for the training Programme, while urging participants, both physical and virtual to maximize the opportunity provided to build bridges and make meaningful connection.

Dr Bem also used the opportunity to appeal to University Vice Chancellors to be active in promoting ANUPA activities and ensure administrative efficiency.

The training workshop was organized to groom junior university staff for global standard and challenges with experienced resource persons imparted new skills and requisite knowledge.
