Omer Hassan Al-Bashire has immediately found his way home  before the end of the HIV summit at Nigeria capital of Abuja following the controversies that follows his presence in Nigeria.

According to report, Al-Bashir suddenly returned back to his country within 24 hrs of his arrival for the summit

A source which also is a Sudanese diplomat denied the obvious fact that the Sudanese President left for fear of being arrested, attributing that he left to attend to other engagements.

Mohammed Moiz, spokesman for the Sudanese embassy in Nigeria admitted that Al-Bashir left in the afternoon on Monday.

However, the Nigeria Coalition on the International Criminal Court (NCICC) has expressed their disapproval at the government hosting the Sudanese leader who is wanted by the ICC in connection with war crimes committed in Darfur.

The NCICC further stated that Federal Government by the act has disrespected its international treaty obligation under Article 89 of the Rome Statute of the ICC which it has ratified since 2001, and such disregard undercut the pursuit of international justice, peace and security which are the objectives of the ICC.
